After reading the February InStyle magazine, we have had our eyes on a new vintage Knick knack...face vases! InStyle featured the vintage adorned abode of Dita Von Teese & her fun collection of these kitschy bust vases has sparked our interest. We are hopong to run into one of these little ladys soon.

Due to Lisa's approaching nuptials and our eagerness for all things diy, we have been scrounging around for vintage cake stands everywhere. Planing a huge sweet table is quite the undertaking, but we have been finding some perfect pedestals & are still on the look out for more of these candy colored confections.

Popped in and browsed around this adorable retro shop in Wicker Park yesterday. Super fun housewares, clothes and trinkets everywhere.

One of a Kind is just one of the MANY vintage shops in Notting Hill. Hopping off the Tube at Notting Hill Gate and walking down Portobello Rd. one finds a treasure trove of vintage loot.

getting thrifty in paris

While doing some homework on thrift shops to visit , We have been hearing some rumbling about two fabulous ones in Paris: Free ‘P’ Star and Guerrisol.

Free "P' Star is supposedly a treasure trove of vintage finds. Heard that even celebs like to take a stop in and look around when they are in Paris. Apparently its not hard to find trendy pieces due to the owners good eye and editing, yet prices still remain super affordable!

It seems at Gurrisol, there is a bit more of muck to shift through, but from what I hear you can score yourself some cheap frocks for only a few euro!

Definitely ones not to miss!
